One of my Sakura shrimp has some green clumps growing on the back of the neck and body. Anyone know what this is?

    Should I quarantine him?

i think you should quarantine this shrimp. look out for other similar shrimps with this fungus. they may be contagious i think.
previously a forumer here tried the salt bath method to treat the infected shrimps and it works for him

    Looks quite bad.

I also go along with bro huizhong, that quarantine it might be a good idea.

I don't know what parasites/bugs/disease is that but I have treated my cherry shrimps white fungal successfully using salt bath.

The details is in this thread:
    http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...Cherry-Shrimps

I have brought out some salt today. If you want to give it a try, I can meet you up during lunch hour provided it is around the East area.

Please PM me your contact so that we can make the arrangement.

By right, we should try to find out what disease/illness is that before applying the approrpriate treatment.
If you are at your wits end and wanted to give the salt bath a go, feel free to contact me and I'll pass you some of the salt at our convenience ya.
    from 14L to 8L tank.
