On the AQ.com front page, there's a useful link just for such purpose.... all i can say that the plant is a type of Hygrophila.

With stem plant, you should also plant the stems individually a few cm apart from each other.... did you also remove the pot and wool?

Thanks. Would you be so kind to paste the "useful" link here. Is because i cannot find info on it at any sites thats why i asked in a forum. And i did not see similar comment of yours in other similar threads. thanks

Can you see the link to "Flora/Fauna albums somewhere above? And click it and search the database for Hygrophila?

I have already said earlier it's a Hygrophila, haven't I? All you have to do is go to the flora database and search in the alphabetical section for 'Hygrophila' until you find the suitable picture match.

Please pardon me, but I try NOT to spoonfeed. If I can show you where to get information, it saves time and effort for both YOU and ME. Folks here do not have the time to answer every single question till the cows come home. That's why for common Plant ID and newbie issues, there is the very extensive database and aquatic FAQ and articles, which some people have very very kindly taken time to write, assemble, layout and design. Otherwise, almost the entire forum, articles, database and even useful threads posted yesterday (since many people can't be bothered to even look in there for answers) are totally wasted.

I know some people here think I tend to sound harsh (they haven't heard me scream and rant yet) but if you are willing to read up as well as provide as much information about your tank etc when posting particular problems (so that people can provide the right advice without having to ask in exasperation what your tank parameters are), nobody should slime you for asking anything.

If one is going to pursue a worthwhile effort (planted aquaria in this case), shouldn't one also be prepared to learn and absorb a whole new spectrum of information? It may seem hard initially, but I am sure many folks here can tell you that it gets much easier very quickly. Guys like aeon who were clueless newbies () not long ago are already chipping in to help newer newbies. You can be like that too, if you persevere.

Much of the hobby's fun is in exploration and reading. I don't mind looking at every single plant to find my plant at the end of the list. Time wasted? no. I learn about more plants. knowledge is priceless.
