Newbie question on Chiller

Hi everyone,

I have 2 questions about chiller:

1. Is the power consumption of chilling the water from 28 to 26 the same as from 27 to 25?

2. If it takes 30 minutes to heat up from 26 back to 28, does it takes the same time for it to heat up from 25 to 27?

Bro,

1. Never measure consumption but I truly do not think it will be a significant amount.

2. Lower the temp u set, the chiller of course work harder to kick in and out. It's all about your surrounding temp. That's why on cooler days, your chiller perform better

1. Is the power consumption of chilling the water from 28 to 26 the same as from 27 to 25? - They are not the same. The lower the temperature you set, the more electrical consumption as it takes more time to cool down to lower temperature.

2. If it takes 30 minutes to heat up from 26 back to 28, does it takes the same time for it to heat up from 25 to 27? Not the same time. It require a longer time to cool to a lower temperature as per mnetioned by bro prodrive.
Correct me if i am wrong.
