Seen some at Petmart the week before last... They have stock for these once in awhile.. Cute little fellas which 'fan' themselves (feeding actually)..
Not sure if anyone's seen this, but it could be an interesting addition to community tanks in Singapore.

Any idea where to possibly get one?

Polyart and Nanyang Seaview has them too. You can find a lot of them in Nanyang Seaview, they labelled them as mountain shrimps.
Thanks. Will check it out there!
I had 2 of them in my old tank, bought for 20 per shrimp, (few years back), at qian hu, big felleas, but very shy, peaceful and will some times knock down my plants, cute fellea.![]()
haha... any pics of your old shrimp?
Ah,no sorry, decom my old tank long ago.
African filter shrimps are larger and very shy. Very very good shrimp to keep. They appear every once in a while at qian hu, last I saw one was at Y618, price wise can be a little painful on wallet.
As for the other fan feeding shrimp, they call it bamboo/wood/singapore shrimp I think. Becareful as they tend to jump out of the tank.
Overall, I prefer the africian filter shrimp as they are really an interesting addition to the tank (:
