I have a planted tank with shrimps only and this 'thing' appears

It's a damselfly nymph that probably snuck in with your plants.

I'm sure everyone would say that the best course of action is to remove it straightaway, as it's a predator that will hunt your shrimps. And do inspect your aquarium carefully, there's often more than 1 hiding somewhere.

That's why you should always clean and inspect your plants before putting it in the tank.

I typically use H2O2 or bleach followed by heavy dose of anti-chlorine to disinfect them first. This will also kill any snails too.

I hate this pest. Used to catch more than 10 in a single day in my shrimps planted tank.

Check at night with a torchlight. They are most active at that time when it is totally dark. Sluggish movers, since they spend most of the time just lurking in ambush, so you can easily net them if you're fast enough.
