Hi guys
Anyone knows?? I think I may have to start preparing myself...
One of my favourite angelfish - and my wife’s too - is showing signs of old age, like poor vision and loss of agility. During “makan” time, he gets crowded out and would go “tikam-tikam” for the food. He is so slow that I had to resort to selectively feeding him using a pair of pincers, but even then, 9 out of 10 food bits meant for him would be snapped up by the other fish!
It’s a tedious job feeding him and I do sometimes get a bit chissed off by this![]()

i keep altums with other fishes therefore what i do is to feed the other fishes with flake or whatever till they are not really interested in anything, then i bring out the bloodworms on a satay stick to feed the altum. like that the other fish wont kachiow. haha.

Apologies, my boo-boo while performing debugging ops. Have since rectified. Anonymous postings are disabled for this forum.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Some forums estimate the lifespan of angelfish to be around 8 yrs. I was actually hoping to hear from people who have raised this fish from cradle to grave. I expect lifespan to vary depending on dietary and water conditions, as does longeivity in humans. I'm talking abt death from old age and not as result of disease conditions, as that would be considered as prematured death.
