    Are their shells disintegrating?
How about putting in some coral chips in the filter? As they dissolve, the water will have Calcium and Magnesium compounds which the snails can extract.

i think so, when i bought them, their shells are smooth, now got lines in their shells, and green lines?

do i need to feed them by isolating them? or disolving it in the water? pls advise......i could use a blender to beat the egg shells.............

how do i feed it to the snails?

drop the tablets inside? or take out the snails and put inside a bowl and feed them?

or disolve the tablet in water, and pour it into the tank?

I highly doubt snails will eat calcium tablets or any other source of calcium other than spinach.

If I am not wrong, they build their shells by taking in dissolved calcium carbonate directly from the water. So placing some coral chips in a corner of the tank or filter should be better.

Good ideal never thot of throwing a bag of coral chips into the tank. Can also raise KH but water will hard.

You know, i just typed in "snail water shell calcium deposit" in google and immediately found all the information i need about aquatic snails.

Stop relying on spoonfeeding and learn to do your own research. With the internet and facilities like Google, there is really no excuse.

pH of the water also play a part in the erosion of snail's shell. At low pH, calcium carbonate in the shell becomes more soluble. It is also good to raise the KH a little to maintain the pH at near neutral level.

i have placed corl chips in the tank for 2 weeks, but i didn't see any improvement of the snails' shells, and my water turned yellow. I have washed the coral chips before putting them in. Please advise.
