Did you acclimated them properly?

What is the PH?
I only have problem with my Fire Red when PH go below 6.

Ya i think is ph .. Because even with my new setup .. My new fire red is dying while my small crs is very alive

hi misa - no, the led light does not heat up the water that much as compare to a conventional light

So long as folks take it that EVERY rock that goes into a tank WILL affect something, and KNOW HOW to counteract the effects, most rocks are 'safe' to use.

Just get some cheap artificial white vinegar from NTUC and test the rocks. Fizzling means it will affect GH and KH, no fizzling means its more or less inert.
Of course, other funky things may still leech from the rocks with time, no real way to tell.

yes bro !! it is a Japanese zen garden ... Actually the original design should not be like this ... But my plants start to die off so i need to find more plants to absorb the nitrate ...

But i realise it is very hard to monitor my shrimp movement inside the heavily planted back .. So remove some and those dead ...
