Since there is no plant. I will suggest minimum light, as long you can see your fishes the way you wanted. Perhaps a simple clip on light if your tank is not too big.

I'm planning to start a Amazonian Biotope aquarium.
I have sand (and ketapang leaves) as substrate, got some beautiful malayan driftwood (from GC) and fauna would be electric blue german rams and corys. No plants at all.
Question is... What type of light would be suitable?
