Hey guys need to verify is it possible for a shrimp's saddle to disappear overnight? Because I had one Rilli with a saddle for quite some time. However when I saw it today the saddle was gone, no visible eggs at it's pleopods. Can the saddle just suddenly 'expire'?

If the shrimp was already carrying the eggs I can accept kick off as possible reason. But the previous day it was still having the saddle in it's body.

To move the unfertilized eggs from saddle form to actual egg form is there a transaction period where the saddle just disappears? Assuming the eggs in the saddle were all fertilized.

    Very puzzling ....
