Tank Makers

I recently called a few tank makers namely, Sgbros, CR aquarium, Green chapter, Aquatic dreams. cldnt get yonghua though. for a qoute of 4ftx1.5x1.5 with cabinet & hood. CR aquarium seems to give me the lowest price. Any reviews on CR aquariums?

It doesn't matter who is the glass maker or carpenter from any shops you went. I made 3ft x 2. 5ft x 4ft terrarium and Chengal rack myself hence did I need to review myself? After all the method of glass making is the still the same unless you request for non-scratch glass or specialise-made glass for a special reason. As for the cabinet and hood, all depend of what kind of material you want,a cheap plywood? Chengal wood? marine ply? All carpenters in Singapore are really good, and they don't come cheap. If you got the cheapest quote, then go ahead , its doesn't matter whatever brand.

Coral Reef Aquarium seems solid, comes with warranty. Never heard of problems with their tank, a friend had his made from them. Anyway m5zal78, try not to use sms lingo in this forum, highly frown upon. Read the rules and regulation to enjoy your stay here.

I have a CR 3*1.5*15 ft tank and i have been using it for more than 5 years.
It is still running well with no leaks and crack.
I would say CR aquarium tanks are really of high quality

Get a few quotes and compare prices and so long come with some kind of warranty and is not a blacklisted tank maker should be fine.
Also take note the glass thickness if you are going for bigger fishes now or in the future.
Basically, bigger fishes will need thicker glass to prevent future cracks and damages.
