Need Advice to Install Hailea HS-28A 1/10 HP Chiller

Just bought a Hailea HS-28A 1/10 HP Chiller from C328 awhile ago. Planning to connect to my Eheim 2071 Pro 3 250 Canister Filter which is currently supporting my 2ft tank.

Two queries:

1) Do I need hose clamps to ensure that water do not leak from the inlet and outlet?

2) Anything I need to take care to avoid water spilling when removing the hose from the canister filter?

Chiller is up and running!

Got 4 of these hose clamps from C328 Polyart at 4:00am last night.
