o.. then no choice, they take from same supplier
I think I saw it in Seaview yesterday, very rare to see it.
Hi Kenng, do you have any tips for me to differentiate Hottonia Palustris from other species? As if I recall correctly its fronds resemble water wisteria, & the overall structure resembles the Myriophyllum Mattogrossense...how do I pinpoint that the specimen is indeed Hottonia Palustris from one look?
I am not sure how to differentiate, I recalled the name was written on the plastic container.
This is the one I had.

So you saw it in a plastic "cup" & not a plastic "bag"? Any way, I went down today & couldn't find any containers labelled "Hottonia Palustris". I bought a plant that is in a bag, but I strongly suspect that the one I bought, is Myriophyllum Mattogrossense again.
When you saw it on Tuesday, were there quite a few "cups" left? Are they placed at the small "shelf" where the tanks of frogs are?
If it is not too much trouble for you, can you help me take a few higher-resolution shots of your specimen? Particularly a close-up of the leaf fronds, & the distance between each "tier" of leaves?
Thank you.
There you go, this is the closest I can go

Thank you very much; I have more or less determined the previous few pieces I bought, are in fact either Limnophila Sessiliflora, or Limnophila Aquatica.
Anyway, I went to Y618 (That Aquarium) & couldn't find it also...in the end, while I was at C328 collecting some plants, I saw it! This time round, there can be no mistake!:
Finally, rewarded after running here & there these couple of days...![]()
Yes, this is the same one I bought.
Congrats for getting what you wanted.
