Hi bro, you can either use a larger type of HOF (Aleas, Eheim, GEX brands). As long the HOF is medium > large size, they should be able to fit the frame gex tank.
Been pondering very long for which type of tank to go for a low tech planted.
a ocean-free glass tank around 25cm or a GEX 'S' tank?
i am going for a hang-on filter but i have diffculties in finding a HOF for GEX 'S' tank as the top cover area frame is not able to fit most HOF. anyone can recommend me a HOF?
fauna : java moss, christmas moss , dwarf gourami, cories and guppies

Advice from boss Felix
No point to get a a small HOF. It is better to get the biggest HOF you can find. Better still, get one of those large double compartment types.
With these large compartments, you can enlarge the bio-media space by customising the contents. The bigger the bio-media the more effective the performance. This is why some compartments in canister filters are so big in size.
