Hi, Billy any idea distilled water add in Anti Chlorine?
Will it kill them
Love ur shrimplets.![]()
Hi, I'm adding Mosura Shi Zhen to my top up distilled water and bubble it at least 3 days before using it. I do not know whether is there any significant meaning behind this method but this has been my procedure for either topping up or water change after numerous shrimp keeping failure. This method is taught by my mentor in shrimp keeping. I still remember his teaching,"if there is nothing wrong with the water parameter and no shrimp death, do not alter or add anything to the tank."
I personally do not think anti chlorine will kill or shock the shrimp unless the dosage is miscalculated either too much or too little.
To reduce the fluctuation of water parameter during water change, I'm using drip method to reduce the shock or stress to the shrimps.
Hope my experience will be useful to you, if you have any more issues or problems you can ask in the forum and let the senior answer them. Thanks.
Happy shrimp keeping.
