why only looking for berried CRS? even when you bought them home, the water parameters difference may cause it to lose the eggs. more important is to get males and females and let them mate.

I would agree with Jimmy. The stress may cause them to lose the eggs or maybe even death. CRS matures at about 3 months old, thus if you bought your shrimps at about 1.5cm size, it will be a matter of within 1 month before they start mating.

Each has his own choice. For me I would go for the berried ones. After a few weeks I would have multiple shrimplets and definitely worth the money. Also, the mama shrimps would be ready for another round of eggs soon. I like to take this gamble! But you have to pay more for a berried shrimp usually. Exciting is the word for me!

yea. agree with you. that's why i rather get a berried shrimps, chance of losing those eggs, but surely they are ready for next round of eggs soon.

it makes sense to charge more. but for shrimps such as fire reds etc which are always berried when they arrived in the shop, price remains the same.

it is best that you go down to take a look. low end shrimps would cost the same. high end ones would be different. you have to see what stock do they have. they don't carry all the shrimps all round the year.

The last time I saw a berried CRS was at C328. Bought her back with a few others. She gave birth after a week or so.

looks like no luck at GC, went today, most of the crs are sold. only left those colourless one. only manage to see 1 berried mama at the display tankset.

Guess it was my luck. Went to GC on Thurs and manage to scoop these 2 berried CRS and Golden Bee. Price is the same as non-berried ones.

Nice. Think is because they just restock on 31 oct. Looks like need to rush down when they restock
