    BOUGHT BIOPLAST LIGHTS FROM SYSTEM N CONTROL AT BOON KENG..WAS WONDERING TO CHANGE FROM FL TO PL LIGHTS AS THE BRIGHTNESS IS INSUFFICIENT TO THE PLANTS..CAN IT BE CONVERT SO THAT IT CAN ACCEPT PL LIGHTS..OR SHOULD I JUST BUY A HIGHER WATTAGE..WHICH BRAND?

    hi, ever heard of the CAPS LOCK key???

    I personally don't see much difference between FL and PL tubes in brightness... only that you can squeeze in more PL tubes for a given tank size. Search this subforum for past threads on PL tubes which should provide the information you need.

    I use a combination of one PL and one FL tube for my 2 feet tank. So far, all of my plants are doing well, including Tonine, Riccia, HC, downoi etc.
