    Wrong category dude...

Is price a concern? if not get Eheim else get Atman. Go to their website and see which model will suit your tank size.
    I'm back!

For a 3 ft tank, I recommend Eheim Ecco 2235. Power consumption is 13W for our local 230V 60Hz electrical supply.

8W power consumption for 50 Hz electrical supply.

    filter for pond

What about a 4x2.5x1 ft pond? Can I use the same filter as the aquarium tank?

The flow rate used should be around 3 times the volume of your tank. Some are using Jebo as well.

Many canister filters do not work for pond because canister filters need to be placed below the water level of the tank/pond. They need the siphoning action of water flow from tank/pond to filter for it to work.

Eheim Pro II 2026 or 2028. 2028 has an additional tray of filter medium than 2026. Both has same spec I believe. Are you using a cabinet for your tank? Need to take that into consideration too.
