    Hi all bros,

    I'm very new to cherry shrimps, only have knowledge in planted tanks before, quite long time ago. Last nite i juz setup my tank wif sand & a handful of erect moss sinking at e bottom tied to nothing, i didnt climax my cherry shrimps and i juz throw them in...as i added essential liquid to achieve favourable water parimeters eg. cultivation of BB, nice ph, kh, gh, low nitrates & ammonia. After my internal filter run abt 30min, i realised it's too strong for my cherry shrimps, so i juz off it, forgo e process of cycling e tank & cultivation of BB, left wif juz airstone.

    I juz went to observe hw my cherry shrimps are doing...whether i crashed them within 24-48hrs....cos i didnt follow proper process. (I'm prepared for it as i deserved it) but instead i notice i had baby cherry shrimps swimming ard in e tank!!! So due to my inexperience, i need Help badly, hoping all kind experienced bros will help me please wif my questions below:

    1) Now tat e tank is so bare wif juz sand & little erect moss, am i providing enuff covers/shelters for e adult & baby cherry shrimps?

    2) Wat should i feed e baby cherry shrimps wif?

    3) Wat other things should i do and should i not do?

    Kamsia all kind souls who rendered their help!!! Deeply kamDong ah!!!

    hi fren ;
    if your cherry started breeding that mean your tank is in favour for breeding i think ...as for cover i think should be enough as i breed them with just hornworts...

    As for feeding u can try choosing other soft leave plant like mayaca or adding some more java moss as my baby shrimp luv them more than the tablet food ....or may be u can invest on tablet food...

    Just leave it alone for a week or so and if u 1 change water ,1\\3 of it will do... beware as the baby look so tiny and transparent as them may be lying at the bottom of ur basin when u change water...

    Happy breeding...
