I throw them into the recycling bin nearby. Too much to keep already.
For those who are using Distilled water to top up or do WC, how do you recycle the bottles?
Or is there a LFS that does a trading of these bottles?
If I can get 1 cherry shrimp (or even shrimplet) for 10 bottles, it will make my day too.![]()

Use them as DIY for K1 media. The more water top ups / wc. The more filtration the shrimps get! :P
You can consider using them to grow some emersed plants if you like some greenery. I saw somewhere before someone cuts the bottle into 1/3 or something, then fills some soil and plants emersed plants. after that he puts the top 1/3 of the bottle back on.

Collect enough bottles and stick them together vertically, and reinforced with nylon string. This way, you can make a nice big raft which you can sell to any enthisiast living near the beach. You may even start a cottage industry this way.![]()
LIFE IS UNBEARABLE WITHOUT A FISH TANK!!!

wow! this is a real business, seeing them really building a house out of the bottles.

I am using PET bottles to make cheap ( and efficient) filters for my tanks. I have only these air driven filters in my shrimp tanks.
