    Hi guys,

I was wondering if the commercial types of LED lighting are suitable for my plants?
    my tank is 3ft * 1.5ft depth.

The T8 LED tube is 9w with about 140 small Leds, unlike those specialized lighting of about 1w per LED. The spotlight type is 20w with just one big LED. Both have colour temp of about 6500k. In terms of wattage, I understand we can up and down according to our requirements. The question is whether they can really provide the same intensity like the "authentic" aquarium lights?

    Regards & Thanks
