blow across the water
Sorry..this may sound dumb and probably is...but theose fans that we DIY and mount above our water to bring the temperature down...
ok..my question is do we point the fan downwards so as to blow across the surface of waster...or do we point it upwards so as to act as a suction to suck the heat from the waster surface away into the atmosphere??
hmm...enlighten me please!
thanks!

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
A slight angle can lift more molecules off the surface but too much and it causes too much surface agitation and displaces CO2. Blowing straight across is a little too passive in my opinion. CO2 in water is quite stable, little waves won't displace CO2 I think...
If you find that you lose CO2, pump a little more. I think it's worth it for the temperature drop.
I'm back!
