Should be just a matter of time, for the bacterias build their colonies, in the new filter. Maybe you can run both filter in parallel for the time being

Recently I have change my hang on filter to cansiter. My tank is 2FT with 4pcs 3-4cm discus. When I change my water I drip some cystral clear into the tank. But my water is not as clear as I use hanging on filter.
My cansiter model tetra vx-100

But almost 2day.the water is still the same. Thanks for your advice
the water cycling can take up to 1 month or even longer...
All are new water and stuffs right?
Give it a week of cloud and smell and bear with it.

Lol. For a tank to be seasoned properly, it take a lot of time, a few weeks.
I don't like to use canister filters in small 2 ft tanks. HOF is best, but it must be a big one which can hold plenty of media, eg Oceon-Free Super. Slim HOFs are not for me.
Good oxygenation is slso important in cultivating bacteria. HOFs offer excellent means of oxygenating the water.
LIFE IS UNBEARABLE WITHOUT A FISH TANK!!!
Yes new water . Canister bought around 2week
Hope you cease feeding in the mean time. If you continue to feed then the bacteria will continue to bloom. Once bloom cleared then continue feeding. Normally nothing needs to be done and within a few days, it will turn crystal clear again. Turn on aeration to max as they need to breath harder. IF after a few days still the same, then I suggest reset your tank. Hth
Thanks guys my tank Water seemed to have cleared completely![]()
Give another week then can test and start regular wc.
Its always good to keep mechanically filtered wter from your tank if you cleanup or change filter.

"... thanks will always be given for helping me..."
How to I clear those my small stone(fish shit) that I put in the tank? Bec my cansiter can't reach to the ground of the tank
If you dont have substrate your canister can suck them provided your outlet blow towards the inlet.
With substrate you just rely on bacteria and siphoning them along with regular wc.
