can i keep 2 small common clownfish with a piece of LR? can they survive ?
Hello, I am no marine aquarist.... but really, why do you want so much to keep the clownfish and liverock in a space so small that the water quality will fluctuate immensely and you will need to monitor round-the-clock to assure the survival of the poor creatures? You don't even seem to know much about water chemistry (at least the parts affecting livestock survival) nor the needs or hardiness of the fish you want to keep.....
Sorry to be harsh, but I think the Nemo trend (and the role played by some LFS which set up little 20cm tanks with clownfish on their shelves) is really making people into the wrong type of animal lovers - those which want an animal (and setup) which is cute, without really knowing what the creature needs to thrive.
well... thats y im in the forum asking whether it is feasible. Thx anyway for the valuable comment.![]()
