Aquazonic T5 light tube

I have just bought one 24w T5 aquazonic light tube from nangyang. I bought it because it is much more cheaper than osram. It stated 7500k super plant. Anyone use it before. Understand that 6000k to 8000k are suitable for planted tank, but how good is it for aquazonic as it is china made.

Give it a try and see how your plants respond. If there is at least signs of pearl should be ok.

I am actually trying to go the other way around- i bought a couple of aquazonic 10k t5 3ft sets - looking to replace with proper osrams around 6000- 8000k.
what should the osram model be and where can i buy them?
also anyone care to indicate the price range?

Can get from NA. They carry both osram 6500k or 8000k.

how is the aquazonic light working? Better to get the osram ligh from NA or seaview?

Can't tell the different. Seaview do not sell osram, but NA do

I just bought it, shall try and let everyone know. Philip 14w at 1260 lumens and osram 14w at 1100 lumens. Those sold in lfs are high output meaning it is brighter.

Not really sure T5 HO are sold at hardware shop, will hunt and tell.

if you purchasing from harward shop, must double check to see if they support the lightset. Once i bought a hitachi t5 bulb and applied it to my lightset but the set rendered not working after 2 weeks

how to double check? bring the lightset to the hardware shop? won't know how to describe it to the boss...

Maybe between 5 to 6 bucks cheaper than osram after discount. That is comparing between aquazonic 7500k & osram 6500k. The different would be even wider if compare with osram 8000k.
