Hi, anybody has experience with this filter?
Can I put the canister on the floor?

I am new to this hobby and is researching for the items.

It works like the new gex slim hang on filters.
The miter is located just above the intake. So as long as the intake is inside the water, it will work as normal.
The green cylinder is where the filtration takes place, just like the hang on part of the gex slim HOF.

You can put the canister on the floor, but do check the Eheim website for recommended maximum height as it requires power to pump the water back up into the tank.
IMO its quite an overkill for smaller sized tanks that it is designed to use for, unless you have really a high bioload.
