U will get CRS with less red pattern most likely and some golden shrimps.

Tks Deone.
My CRS is SS grade is there a more % getting SSS than SS to SS grade?
Or maybe i was wasting my time
Hoping to get more % SSS
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I am not too sure about that, but I believe traditionally that is what most breeder use to do to refine the amount of white on the shrimp.
However some believe that this will cause the white to be slightly yellowish due to nature of the golden shrimp.
Perhaps some seniors here can share on this.

Actually its up to individualSome of the breeder breed with snow-white rather than golden genes but nowadays its hard to find "pure" Snowwhite... if you like to have SSS grades.. just do selective breeding but you must have patient,,hehehhe.. if no patient(like me) just buy sss grades straight away
hahahha....
This is my Snowwhite
I believe snowwhite have better white in terms of thickness and whiteness than Golden (i may be wrong, just my opinion)
BUT if you want advise, this is mine: JUST DO SELECTIVE BREEDING!!!!! hahahha you will get better whiteness and thicker color. If you keeping PRL, don't mix with other shrimps just to get SSS grades, it will defeat the purpose![]()
goodluck bro!!!!

I've always known snow whites and golden's to be carrying distinct genes. Snow whites are just CRS that have no red colouration and should sport a thick, white shell with minimal cracking and absolutely no yellowish/orange tinge. Golden's on the other hand have the distinctive yellowish/orange tinge. Genetically, it is believed that golden's carry a golden gene which is widely accepted to be inferior. For this matter, PRLs are shrimps that should almost never throw out goldens.

Wah Rascal where u get ur Snow White.![]()
Under the crossbreed chart there's no Snow White. Can it be some more white golden n it became Snow White?
Yes i agree with Vannel n Deone that they do have yellowish or orange tinge but can it be selective breeding of Golden (more white) cos mine has two colour or maybe stress change in colour.
Sorry for the blur image using Samsung Note.

hahah... bro just do selective breedingmore fun!!! ahhhaah
good luck bro![]()
Both pictures look like the golden gene is present. No matter how much selective breeding is done with Golden's, they will still not be pure white, and hence will never be able to truly become snow whites. IMHO, snow whites can only be achieved via extreme SSS CRS that have totally lost the red pigments on their head and elsewhere on their body. This is much like how extreme BKK can result in fully black shrimps.
