    Re: Bad buyer spotted (Senior)

I was selling my chiller back then and newlife approach me and ask me to reserve the chiller as seen in the first attachment. That was one month ago. Since i know his nick in the forum so did not ask for any deposit. Thereafter told me that he's going overseas and will only be back on the first week of dec which i agreed. After a few sms, agreed to have the chiller deal on the 10 dec. Had to send multiple sms to check with him on when he can collect. Been drag and drag till last week, finally agreed to be yesterday. Then i check with him again and told me that can only deal at 11 plus. Waited till midnight, no update, send him sms also no reply. Called him and phone was over. Eventually sms me at 12:20am which i already went to bed. This morning telling me work come first. The whole world, he's the only one working? If he cant make it, he should at least inform me.

In case you dont know who is it. The person is NEWLIFE

    Hi Darren,

Can do a market rating for him?
next time 2 missed appointment = deal off.

That will be easier for future new hobbyist to see.

    Hi felix,

Seriously I wasn't expecting someone like him to chu this kind of pattern.

What I wasn't happy with him is the way he reply. As if he's the only one.

Sorry to start such a bo liao thread. If you think the thread shouldn't exist, you may proceed to delete this thread.

    Thanks.

I've had nearly a bad experience with him too. Supposed to buy and pick up a 3-tier stand, self collection from Woodlands but on collection day and time when i was at the location, multiple SMSes went replied and when i eventually call him on the mobile number, the phone was flat.i kept my cool and has to comb the entire block of units along with my wife (whom i'm so appreciative of ) and try to locate newlife's unit.

How i managed to find was that luckily, the stand was placed outside his house and only upon ringing the door bell, he then realised the appointment.

I had a bad experience recently with another pretty senior forummer with one of my on sale tank and the reason for not turning up is also due to work. I fully concurred with Darren that who in the world doesn't have to work? I run my own business and trust me, it's a lot worse than holding a regular job.

Hopefully everyone will have a basic sense of responsility, and it doesn't matter if you're a teenager, working adult, a blue or white collar worker or your own business owner.

Apologies, typo above with reference to the SMSes, they were 'unreplied' instead of replied.
