Breeding of coral red pencil

Hi guys, have anyone successfully breed them ? Or does anyone have any information about them ? Kinda curious about them since I have a pair

How do you identify the sex?
anyway did you bought it from kingfisher?

Got it right bro, got mine from kingfisher. Well they are very similar except the female to be of a weaker colouration

hi the males are very striking fishes.
got 2males and 3 females about a week ago, and set them up in seperate 1.5ft tanks. read somewhere, can't remember where? that they enjoyed eating what they laid.
so, covered 1 tank with UG filter plates; drop eggs will not be accessible to hungry fishes and another with java moss.
fed them on frozen daphnia and tubiflex. so far, fishes are well but uneventful.
will keep members updated on happenings

then i should have bought the coral red pencil too but then i would be broke as i also bought 20 cherries...

Well I got mine, about 1 month ago and I have been keeping them in my planted tank together with my other fishes.

I think I will probably try to net them out of my tank if possible and try out what bro ZLimos has mention
