Setup with new cabinet

Bought myself a new cabinet from Fishy Business, which Roger, the shop owner very kindly delivered it on Christmas eve.

The cabinet customised to 50cm width from their standard 60cm. And as I needed an antique white to the finish rather than the standard dark grey or flat white, I went for the "Ivory Delight" with matte finish as the laminate, picked from their wide range of choices. Spent several hours getting the stuff transferred to the cabinet and so here is it:


Their cabinets come with soft close hinges, so that you don't have to worry about startling your fish with door slams.

Thanks, I've used mainly varied forms of rotala, mostly green and some pinkish, and small amount of bacopa, which I'll soon be replacing with rotala eventually.

May i ask what is your tank height? Your lighting is good. Are they T5?

Hi, height is 30cm. I'm using 2 strips of Grobeam leds. I've posted full specs of my tank in my last thread started. You may want to check it out, not much has changed since.

Did another diy project after trimming my background down below the mid ground level: added a frosted film backing. Kind of like the effect.

Did you remove your rotalas from the background or its still there?
