Argh!! Help! My koi has this HUGE horrible sore (kinda like some beige cauliflower growth)on its left side, surrounded by a mucousy whitish layer of slime. It often stays on the pool floor and movement is erratic. Seems like it has difficulty controlling its direction in mid swim and often goes vertical. Fins are splayed out most of the time. I cant seem to spot any more sores elsewhere on the body, and its appetite still seems a-ok. Other fishes are just fine. Is it possible it knocked onto some rocks n skinned itself? or is it a fungal disease? What should i do? Pls Help!!
