Bone structure in aquarium

Dear guys and gals... anyone have any experience putting real bone structure inside the aquarium?
I am planning to start a low tech planted tank with mainly cardinal tetra and maybe a few ottos.

The main attraction of the tank will be a real crocodile skull about 30-40cm.
My concern is whether the bone structure will affect the chemistry of the water... ie. hardness, PH, etc.

Any view and idea is deeply appreciated.

Well i think that the bones will release calcium into the water, among other things, increasing the pH and hardness of the water over time, but I'm not sure about the rate of that. Cool idea though

Hi jemswira... thanks for the advice... hopefully the parameters will not change too quickly over short period of time.
