I am planning to take 2 days to rescape my 4 feet tank. What should I do with the live-stocks??? Remove them to another temp tank?

People come here to shit and stink,
Others come here to sit and think,
I come here to scratch my balls and see the writings on the wall.

Did that 2 weeks back. just half of my 4ft planted and lost 1 adult Apisto. agaz and suspected oso my juv apisto. Trifaciata male. Didn't see him since then. That's one thing about a planted tank. You just didn't notice they r missing until u start looking for them.

Generally I think its o.k to leave them in the tank especially for bigger size tank and if just pruning is involved. But then if ur fertilizers leeches during uprooting of stem plants. U better act fast and draw out the water.

    Hi Cbong,

If you are planning to change your plants, it is fine to leave your livestocks in the tank. I just did that to my 4ft, 3 weeks back. I remove up-rooted all the old plants, instantly did a vacuum of the water, in case of fertiliser leakage. Did a cleaning on the filter pads, reactor. Added new plants over the next 2 days. DONE! No problem with the livestocks.

Have fun & all the best.

    Cheers
    CFP
