Hello all, i thought of starting a thread so that we all as sulawesi keepers can chat and share our experiences. On the internet, there are many people who failed. I hope you will continue to keep going and keep this hobby alive!
There are many experienced keepers here but they have stopped.. or quit..
Very sad indeeeed. so we only can get our shrimps from lfs.. which is more expensive and higher risk of death.
I will get the ball rolling....

Check out this link, very interesting
I keep sulawesi shrimps, tetras, birds, exotic pets, herptiles and monster fishes.

Hey guys, are TDS, GH and KH critical to keeping sulawesi? Tried to keep a few in my tank which has been pretty stable for months ( PH = 7.8, NH3 and nitrate = 0 ) but failed terribly.

damn... didn't know they were critical so didn't take notice of those. what are the 'good' ranges of those parameters?

Have anyone ever used any medication on sick sulawesi shrimp?

How about infection

Check your GH.
Anyways, shrimps can die even in the most stable tank. Sulawesi shrimps are well known for dying without any visible reason. I suggest you get your shrimps from a reliable lfs or a local breeders, and avoid wild caught shrimps. That way, you can minimise deaths
