    Very natural scape and smooth lighting... the lights seems to stay within the tank... are you using LED ?

    Thin oil won't harm your tank, to me it's just esthetic matter.
    It would be common if you have dense biomass .

    TS reminds me of when I started. Tanks looking good. Shall not comment on the plants you have since the guys have already mentioned earlier. Nonetheless, a very good first try.

    Is the bottom meant to be bare? Will you be adding any carpet plants?

    For algae eaters, you might want to stick to Otocinclus and perhaps a few Yamatos. SAE tends to grow big pretty fast.

    Surface skimmer will do the trick but can be quite tricky as you need to 'adjust' it frequently.

    Added 35 neon tetra and 2 yamato so far. Cant find Otocinclus to buy. Any idea where can get?

    Almost all place have. C328, NA, i think gc have special ones. Leopard otto or somewhat. Forgot.
