Me too, I have no success with downoi in my low tech tank. Y618 boss told me this plant needs special soil substrate. I forgot the name of soil he mentioned.

My tank was not planted with Downoi. I remember that it is a very difficult plant as downoi need cool temp of <26deg.

Lately i bought some from lim chu kang farm and the way their plant it is very easy. Like planting veg. Its not require cold temp but good lighting is important. This downoi not suit my plant setup and eventually i pass it to my friend. This is a stem plant and is a runner also, like twister plant.

most local LFS do have stock of it, depending on where you stay, try visiting your nearby LFS to take a look.

Hope, shrimps trading can resume back so that we can get a better and cheaper compare to LSF.

This morning, spend about more than an hour to tie the nana, christmas moss and unknown moss on this DW.

Also add a golden algae eater.

You can get a mini puffer, but it will snack on shrimplets too
