    Hi guys..JUs bought those dial type of timer at carrefour two days ago.Anyone had any experince on how to set the timer..The dial have tabs but i jus cant seem to fig out how to set the tabs...Many thanx!

    Yes, depress the tabs for the timings you want ie 7am to 12noon....2pm to 7pm...and set the indicator (arrow sign) to current time...

    Got pics? Its kinda hard to help you if you don't even give a brand and model no.

    Most work by depressing the tabs. A few by pulling. Others can work both ways, depending on the position of the toggle switch. I've seen that uses plastic pins instead of tabs... much like the score pins on MasterMind game.

    Since it is a manual dial type, you can do trial and error.

    Set some of the tabs in and some out. Plug in your lights, power on and turn the dial and see if the lights turn on or off at which settings. There's usually a over-ride switch to turn off the lights when it is supposed to be on and vice versa.
