    im not a plant pro, what plants are those on the foreground? the leaf tips look withered or smtg. is that its natural colour? resolution not clear nuff to see..

    nice java ferns! But the echinodorus in the center might take away your depth.

    It's make up of Echinodorus tenellus, java moss and wendtii

    I did not mean to have in at the centre initially as i intend to have a empty space there. Just can't bear to throw in away so I plant there just in case anyone want it.

    look too symmetrical on both sides.
    also a bit messy and the size difference of the fishes is too drastic.

    btw noticed that you put the hairgrass floating. is it a better way to let them grow faster. I am trying to cultivate some for my tank cos quite expensive to buy

    Yes it does grow faster by froating on the water and growing emersed out from the water. I have double the amount in 2 weeks time.

    Try to do water change more often bro ... 4days once ... i did that now and so far still free from algae ... it has been going for about 2 months.

    Btw its a nice tank ... very natural =)

    August tank



    Did abit of re-arranging of the ferns around. All this took less than 5min as the ferns are all tie on wood and rocks.
