eBay for Hardscape Materials

Hi all

I'm interested to get a branchy DW and some rocks for an aquascape and saw some interest offerings on eBay. Has anyone had experience ordering from eBay? Is it worth the waiting time and extra cost on shipment or should I just look for the items from the LFS? I've been to a couple but couldn't find one that creates an "impression".

Alderbaran, depends on the selling shop. Some only show a reference DW but not the actual one your getting.
Finding a hardscape is one of the harder things

Hi, buying online especially Dw is not advisable.
Its going to be very expensive because of the weight,size and even volume since you mention branchy DW.
Just like felix mention,it might not be the actual one that you are getting and you never know
during shipping and handling some of the branches might get broken.Then you left with
branches-less DW.

You can check the market place here for some driftwood or since you mention branchy Dw
go and check out green chapter,they have lots of borneo wild driftwood.

Best scout yourself from local lfs. IME bought off some stuff from ebay. item arrived but looks different from what is advertized. lol. but then again it depends on the integrity of the buyer and a little bit of luck

why must buy on ebay ,just get it from lfs and farm , fast and lower cost

You have to read the description accurately.
Some of the pictures are just for illustration purposes only.
As for shipping and total cost, as no DW are the same, if you likeit, then just go for it.
