You can check out green chapter too, i believe they are carrying a few pieces.
Thanks for the heads up. I got two of them today from OTF here in the East. Would love to head to C328. I used to go there every week when I was in the University. I got a Single Orange Rabbit about 2 years ago, now I have six of them. The two I got today look like the yellow rabbit. Am still looking for the black with white spots.
The prices of the snails have gone down quite a bit too since the one i bought two years ago.

Looking for me? Sure PM me.
Y618 has got some tylo snails. You can check them out if you're heading north.
Need something to scratch that itchy hand of mine.
Don't act smart. Be smart!

Y618 have both orange and yellow tylo snails.C328 have yellow one.
I already have a breeding population of orange. Just got two yellow.
Looking for the black with white dots one to add to the collection.
They really do well with minimal care. Always very happy to see new baby snails appear.

I have not seen lfs bring in white spotted snails unless get it for some local breeders. Am looking for golden tylo to add in my two lonely one.

I just went to C328 yesterday, saw a few of them there. But not many and hard to tell what kind of snails they are. All holed up in the shell.
Any idea where that fish shop at Balestier has shifted to? (the one opposite Thomson Medical Centre). I also forgot the name already. I used to get my stuff from there. I heard he shifted west.
Still hunting for more Tylomelania to add to my collection. Another baby just appeared this morning in the tank.![]()
Anyone in SG EAST with some juvenile or baby Tylomelnia snails to swap. I have lots of the yellow variety to swap with orange ones.
Trying to increase the number of orange snails in the other tank.

yo, fellow snail collector
i just added 5 of these snails to my collection, only 1 are yellow. the rest, are black or grey with stripes.
didn't know they too, come in orange.
just curious, what do you feed them?
i tried a cucumber over the weekend, it seems they love it but the downside is it also turn the water cloudy..
and cucumber tends to float.. i tried feeding them the cucumber seeds which some may sink.

I keep the shavings from carrots for the snails. Its stuff you would otherwise throw away anyway.
Carrot parts sink so they are very accessible to the snails. I keep them in a container in the freezer so they it can stay fresh for a longer time.
Just throw in enough for them to finish during the night with a little remaining the next morning would be enough.

They also like spinach. But these float unless you boil or freeze them.

My domestic helper just uses a scraper to scrape off long strips of the outer part of the carrot. The strips are normally discarded. But ever since I kept the snails, I have been feeding them just that. And they love it.
So far all parts of the carrots we have all sink. No idea why yours would float.
