Guys..I am leaving for overseas this Sunday and wish to enquire if to you best knowledge..is there any danger of Storing my Co2 5 litre tank UNused...for long periods...Could be couple of years to a year depends on circumstances.

NA's Chan told me should not be a prob but if not used for longer periods, its better to release.

since you will not be using it, release the gas.
this relieves the stress on the cylinder.
unpressurised cylinder is a 'safe' cylinder.

Why not pass to some CO2-needy AQ member to use the gas for you? Don't release and add to the green-house effect.
