need advise on electronic co2 producer

Go for a gas tank instead...it is not worth it.

I was very tempted to get an electronic as well...saves me the trouble of turning on the cylinder valve everyday. However, I still got the cylinder CO2 instead - I was told that cylinders type are better as the CO2 are more concentrated. To create the plants bubbling effect, the electronic type may not be possible.... Dats all that i gather of between the 2 types...

pressurised co2 system is more economical.
electronic co2 require replacement of the carbon plate and cost about $60.
and is said to be effective only for small tanks.

Hi,

the plate cost $70 the last time round i asked and they last for a year a max. Do the math.

Besides, you got no control over the Co2 produced.
