Nerite snails if you don`t mind them laying eggs on your tank you could also get a magnetic scrubber to manually get rid of them

Bro , otto will be a good choice ?? This is my point of view because when snail starts to breed there is no way in deterting them unless u wanna intro puffer into tank to clear the snail at the same time it will eat ya shrimplets

Good point shrimpboii, maybe after the snail started breeding you could introduce one single assassin snail into your tank to keep the population down.Otto is a good choice too and its cute!

Ottos are a good algae CONTROLLER. They just control and limit the amount of algae growth in your tank. But that doesn't solve the problem. The best you could is to introduce some snails. At the same time reduce the lighting and if your have plants in your tank, reduce the Co2(if any) or ferterlizer. hope this will help.

    Cheers~

    Advices please

Oto might be good but they will 'share' your shrimp food and 'slap' the shrimps in their haste to feed..

Nerite snails causes ugly eggs everywhere in the tank..

If the algae is ugly, just use an algae scrapper or if you don't mind your hands in the tank, an old card/credit card but make sure your hands has no foreign residue like moisturizer, lotion, ruyi oil (those daddy out there knows what I meant)..

And if your tank has GSA (green spot algae) I think only can scrap off in my opinion..

Lol the picture a bit blur bro but pretty sure nerites have a larval stage that require salt or brackish water.

On the other hand if those are somehow nerites that managed to reproduce in freshwater... Bro for sale not 😜

Judging from the shape of the shells, they're probably not ramshorns either. They resemble young pond snails (Physa sp. ) to me. If you had Blue Ramshorn babies then people would buy them.
