    i have a $10 Timer, I set it to 12 hours on, 12 hours off, after 2 days, it can't switch off,

    Could someone advise?

    Or better brands? Where to buy? How much?

    i think i probably need a digital timer, i'm running the fish lights on, but they can't switch it off after 2 days!!

    i didn't left it at manual override lar, it's running fine for 2 days........3rd day cannot switch off,

    why not just get the Theben timers (around $20 i believe)? I have been using my three units for years with no problem.

    does not matter if it's a digital or analog timer.
    should be a quality related problem for your timer.
    bring it back to the shop where you bought it.

    I use Legrand at S$19 for 4 yrs without any problem.
    Mine handle 250 watts lighting.
