Another noob question-Lighting for shrimp tank

Any experienced shrimp keeper knows what kind of lighting for shrimp tank,i`m currently having a PL light but it can only be on-ed for about 8-10 hours so for the rest of the time i would like to have an alternate lighting that can be used when my PL is off.Would LED lighting be a good choice or some other lighting that you guys are using that could make the tank or shrimps look better.

I'm not shrimp / invertebrates expert, though i dont think there's light option restriction for them.
