As above, have a photo attached here. I'm trying to grow some HC emersed and it looks like I've got a hitch hiker, not even sure if it's an aquatic plant. Hopefully some one can shed some light on that.

Looks like glosso... maybe you can replant it at another area in your tank (or in another tank), the small bunch could grow into a carpet in time too.

It's growing pretty quick, every day when I go back and look it at, it seems to have gotten bigger, maybe I'll post another picture when it's a little more mature to try and find out what it is. Doesn't look like glossostigma to me right now...

Looks like Barcopa from what you say, but it's still young with small leaf.
If it grows any taller then it would be a confirm, else it might be another plant if it starts to creep.

Hi felix, not very sure what is plant is this. But stem is pretty rotten to the point where it is seems like it is going to break off and the rest of the plant is going to float off. The top part is a healthy green and new roots have formed at the nodes. Look to me like it is glosso.

Re: Need plant ID. Emersed growth.

I'll keep it in the same spot to avoid any kinda transplant shock and see what it grows into, will update when I notice some changes.

Bennyc: I got my HC from Capricon Aquarium located at Pasir Ris Farmway. They were sorta growing it on a slab of what looks like foam to me. I say sorta, because it's just left there and the HC was spreading all over the foam. I got a pretty big patch, the only thing was the root system didn't go very deep, so a fair amount of the plants didn't make it when I transplanted it into the tank, but whatever survived is now growing and spreading slowly. I haven't figured out how to make it spread real fast.

Here's the plant again a few weeks later, I've since moved it and flooded the tank.
