Tank mates for Threadfin rainbow

Dear all,

Had a group of 8 male threadfin rainbow in my planted 2 feet tank recently, am thinking of introducing new tank mates, wondering if there are any suggestion?

Fin nipper is no no like most barbs . Keep them with fishes of smaller sizes. This should be safe. Btw, check if they do need higher pH compared to the south americans natives (tetra)
