Maybe you could try to DIY your own light stand to hang the light set? Using just PVC pipes and joints, here is a design example (image from google search):

Just adjust the length of the pipe legs to suit the height of your light source.
I'm also in the process of building one for myself too... currently working on a one sided pendant-style hanging fixture setup.
you may want to consider the cloths hanger rack - your friendly HDB or IKEA may have.....
you can try checking any metal workshop that is near your place. usually you can find these in light industrial parks.
as for the dimension, you'll have to figure out how high, how wide, ..., your stand going to be. you'll want the light stand to fit your requirements; custom-made ...

I've seen 7-shaped stands for suspending vertical posters selling at poster printing shops. Not sure they'd be appropriate though.
