Fire red shrimp sexing

I was picking up some fire red from LFS and had a hard time sexing them. Their size and colour are similar. I can't see any saddle, and none of them seemed berried. And out of hundreds of them I don't see any that look obviously male (as in classic tell tale transparent looking ones). Are there any male in there?

Hmm the second picture top one looks like it might possibly be a male by its abdomen. But its just a maybe. Also, they may not have included males in the same tank as they choose the reddest RCS and label them fire red. Not many males may have made the cut.

So, how can I get fire red male? I don't seem to see it anywhere. I've seen big bags of males labeled as Sakura, seems like female is the easiest to find.

Hmm fire red males probably not that obvious. Its their grading process that makes it so, since males wouldnt meet the same grading standards as females, hard to differentiate. http://www.aquaticquotient.com/forum...re-Red-Shrimps
The males can be a whole range of grades but possess the genes for fire red.

Best chance is probably local breeder who knows his males breed true.
