I'm using Seachem Prime, 9 dollars for the smallest size bottle (250ml). 5ml treats 200 litres.

Useful for detoxifying the tank in case of emergencies of nitrite/nitrate spikes, and detoxifying ammonia via binding these compounds.

used the nutrafin brand. IMO the best one i've come across so far. Used API and OF brands last time.

I am using seachem safe. The powdered form of seachem prime which I think works as well as seachem prime. I dose it after every water change.

Yup, it doesn't treat chloramine, but I have been using it for my fishes for years, and recently, for my crs without any ill effects.

I recently bought a 1.5L bottle of Aquadine Anti-Chlorine for only $2.50, before discount! I will try it after I use up my current batch of Ocean Free Anti-Chlorine.

How long have you been using OF Anti-cholrine? OF products have negative reviews sometimes. If you have use for sometime, i can consider to switch. Haha. By the way, does it remove chloromine?

Which anti chlorine brand to use?

Seachem prime. If you're looking to do it cheaper, go for powder form.

if you have the budget, go for seachem prime... i had used ocean free anti-chlorine before on my tetra tank and no issue. currently using baxter 3-in-1.
if you are keeping sensitive fishes, will suggest you to buy better ones...

Just out of the curiosity, is there any difference between seachem prime and safe, other than media reason.

They are fundamentally the same. Prime is liquid form, safe is powder form.
Safe is more economical for larger tanks, but might be too trouble and concentrate for small tanks.

Not true. Some of us prefer to go for reputable brands, and thus the price will differ. Some say the Ocean free stuff are quite good and cheap, but some of us prefer not to take the risk, but stick to reputable brands.

Seachem Prime promotes the production and regeneration of the natural slime coat. Not sure does Seachem Safe has that as well... Not mentioned in Seachem website...

Prime gave me a layer of oil film. Not sure if it is common or I've gotten a bad bottle. I've switched to nutrafin instead.

Most of the lfs do carry both products. You can take a look at their labels and see. They should serve the same purpose.
